🌟 Sorcerer Incremental Traits Guide (March 2026)
Last updated: March 16, 2026 · All traits verified from current build community data.
Traits in Sorcerer Incremental are passive character modifiers that apply permanent multipliers to your core stats. Unlike clans and cursed techniques, traits are obtained via a separate roll pool and have an enormous impact on your overall power ceiling.
The two most powerful traits — Spiritually Gifted and Physically Gifted — each grant a +300% multiplier to their respective stat pools at the cost of completely eliminating the opposing stat. This means trait selection forces a hard commitment to either a CE/Technique build or a Physical/Weapon build. There is no hybrid option at the Rare tier.
The Legendary trait Ryomen's Vessel provides +100% to both Strength and CE Output with no penalty, making it the most flexible and universally valuable trait in the game. It is also the hardest to obtain. Beginners should check the Beginner Guide before deciding which trait to target. ⚖️ Should You Prioritise Clan or Trait First?
This is one of the most debated questions in the Sorcerer Incremental community. The short answer: lock in your clan first, then farm your trait.
Clans determine your build direction — a Gojo clan player should always be targeting Spiritually Gifted, while an Itadori player targets Physically Gifted. Spending trait rolls before your clan is settled risks rolling the wrong trait and wasting resources.
Once your clan is set, use any free trait rolls from codes and story milestones to farm your matching trait. If you land Ryomen's Vessel at any point, keep it — it works for any clan.
New players who are unsure: use the Common trait Iron Body (+50% HP) as a temporary buffer while farming clan scrolls. It keeps you alive in early story arcs without committing your stat direction.
🛠️ Optimal Trait + Clan + Technique Combos
Six Eyes reduces CE costs to near-zero. Spiritually Gifted triples CE output and efficiency. Gojo clan further amplifies CE pool. This combination produces effectively unlimited technique spam in late game and is the consensus #1 build for solo content and Ranked modes.
Ryomen's Vessel provides +100% to both Strength and CE Output with no penalties. It does not lock you into one build type, making it ideal for players who want to experiment or switch playstyles after Reincarnation.
Physically Gifted triples Strength and Agility. Itadori clan multiplies Black Flash damage specifically. Cursed Reinforcement passive stacks multiplicatively with both. This produces the highest single-hit burst damage in Raids, making it the go-to pick for DPS roles in Co-op content.

❓ Traits FAQ
What is the best trait in Sorcerer Incremental?
Ryomen's Vessel is the best all-round trait due to no penalties. For pure CE builds, Spiritually Gifted is stronger. For pure physical builds, Physically Gifted is the pick. Your best trait depends on your clan and technique combination.
Can I reroll my trait in Sorcerer Incremental?
Yes. Traits can be rerolled using Trait Roll items, which are obtained from codes, story milestones, and Raid rewards. Each roll replaces your current trait.
Does Physically Gifted work with CE techniques?
No. Physically Gifted sets your CE stat to 0, meaning all CE-based techniques become unusable. Only pick Physically Gifted if your entire build is weapon and strength based.
Is Iron Body worth keeping long-term?
No. Iron Body is a placeholder trait for early survivability. Replace it with Spiritually Gifted, Physically Gifted, or Ryomen's Vessel as soon as you have the clan and technique to support a committed build.
Does trait carry over through Reincarnation?
Traits do not fully carry over in standard Reincarnation — your run resets. However, permanent multipliers from Reincarnation apply before trait bonuses, so each cycle gets stronger. See the Reincarnation guide for details.
